Wee Waggin Rescue is in need of dog lovers who are willing to open their hearts and homes to dogs in need of foster care until they find their forever homes.
Many of our dogs were family pets. They only need love, attention and a feeling of security to keep them happy, healthy and adoptable. These dogs generally find their forever homes within a couple of weeks.
Some of our dogs have special needs and require a foster that is willing and able to provide behavior training or medical care. Wee Waggin covers the cost of all vet care and will provide professional behavior evaluation and training if required.
Fostering a rescue dog is a short-term commitment with long-term rewards. If you are interested and need more information, please CONTACT US.

"My husband and I adopted our standard poodle, Caly from Wee Waggin Rescue and quickly learned of the dire situation of dogs being abandoned, rampant owner turn-in and over-crowded shelters.
Caly brought such joy to our lives; we figured we had room for one more dog. We contacted Wee Waggin and found they had two small dogs in need of a foster home. We took both of them! Both were sweet, well behaved and so happy to have a soft bed to sleep on and many toys to play with. Our dog loved having the playmates.
Baby, a Bischon-Poodle mix, was adopted within the first week and Millie, an adorable Miniature Poodle, was adopted the following week. Both dogs went to wonderful homes with new parents that adore them.
The experience was so great that we continued to foster as needed. We eventually adopted one of our foster dogs, Tucker a cute little Cockapoo. Tucker loves being part of our family and enjoys playing with Caly.
We will always have foster dogs in our home. Fostering a scared, nervous, hungry, abused or sick dog and watching them become happy again is so rewarding. When we hear from the adoptive families and they tell us how the dogs are doing and that they are now part of a caring, stable, loving family it does our hearts good!
I highly recommend fostering to any dog lover."

Molly is a 2 year-old Cockapoo that was turned in to Wee Waggin because her owner lost her job and could no longer afford to provide her with the care she needed. We need to know as much about you as possible before we allow you to foster one of our rescues. The information you provide on our application/contract will help us determine the best possible match for you, as well as for the dog. Please answer all questions honestly, as there are no right or wrong answers.
Wee Waggin Rescue relies on donations to care for all the homeless dogs in our care. These donation help defray the costs of veterinary care given to dogs prior to adoption. The care WWR provides includes, but may not be limited to, all vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention medication, flea prevention, fecal testing and worming if necessary and surgical procedure for spay/neuter. We ask that our foster volunteers provide the shelter, food and the love.

Save a life.
